AREANA WP1 is expected to impact climate action and economical agility throughout the European Union. Five core elements will contribute to this, by optimizing aviation research:
Contributing to the primary societal challenge of reaching climate neutrality by accelerating and optimizing research.
Contributing to maintaining European leadership through more effective cooperation between EU partners while strengthening partnerships with non-EU countries willing to participate in the European research community.
Bringing together European aviation industry and research to create a common understanding and using synergies over all technologies and funding programmes.
