By the completion of the AREANA WP1 activities, the following foremost results are expected to have been achieved:
- Optimized Call designs for more effective international cooperation.
- A comprehensive European Aviation Research Strategy map, combined with an alignment process for continuous update.
- Intensified participation in research projects by Ukraine, UK, Switzerland and other interested nations achieved.
- At least 3 European countries are expected to provide funding to newly created calls designed for intensified international cooperation.
- Within the 2 following years after completion of the WP1 activities, at least 3 countries shall raise their participation in EU research by more than 100%, or participate for the first time.
- At least 10 countries are expected to join the newly implemented research strategy synchronization process.
